Flock it!
I just got an invite to try Flock Developer Preview, a new browser based on Gecko (the Mozilla/Firefox engine). Some of the features in Flock include:
- The Blog Manager.
- The Flickr Topbar.
- RSS integration.
- Favorites with del.icio.us integration .
- The Shelf.
Will post more on this once i try all the features. Oh btw this is posted from Flock’s The Blog Manager.

Python eats Gator
Unfortunately for a 13-foot (4-meter) Burmese python in Florida’s Everglades National Park, eating the enemy seems to have caused the voracious reptile to bust a gut literally.
Wildlife researchers with the South Florida Natural Resources Center found the dead python last week after it apparently tried to digest a 6-foot-long (2-meter-long) American alligator. The mostly intact dead gator was found sticking out of a hole in the midsection of the python, and wads of gator skin were found in the snake’s gastrointestinal tract.

Subscribe to free, del.icio.us video in iTunes
Now that del.icio.us offers feeds by filetype and iTunes has full video support (including vodcasts or video podcasts), you can load up iTunes with free video files bookmarked and tagged in del.icio.us. Here’s how:
- Go to the del.icio.us page of Quicktime .mov files, which is http://del.icio.us/tag/system:filetype:mov.
- Add tags at the end of that URL which indicate the kind of movies you want. For .mov files tagged funny you’d go to http://del.icio.us/tag/system:filetype:mov+funny.
- At the bottom of that page, copy and paste the RSS feed of those videos using the orange RSS button.
- In iTunes, go to Podcasts. In the Advanced menu, choose “Subscribe to Podcast”, Paste the URL you just copied.
All goes well, iTunes will start downloading video items from the ‘funny’ feed. Once it?s done downloading, make sure the album art panel on the lower left side of iTunes is showing. Then, click on the video item. Play it in the small panel, or expand to full-screen using the button on the bottom of iTunes? chrome.
From here on in, each time you open iTunes, any new .mov?s tagged ‘funny’ in del.icio.us will be automatically downloaded.The same technique works with music and PDF’s.

Pakistani men stride past a crack in a road in Balakot, a mountain village that was largely leveled by October 8′s massive earthquake.
The Kashmir region, where the quake occurred, is among the world’s most seismically active areas. Here, the tectonic plate that includes India is slowly forcing its way into the European continent, pushing up the Himalaya mountains and sparking the occasional earthquake as it goes.
