My 3 Column K2 Style

I have been receiving lot of emails recently asking me to release the style I am currently using on my blog. I am using the same revision four of the 3 colum k2 style I released couple of weeks back, based on one of the svn releases (k2-Beta.2-revision-344) of K2. I made few changes to the basic style as you can see on the front page, links page and in the comments template. So, I have decided to clean up the css and release it, as it is on my blog right now. Ofcourse I have to redesign my blog after that.

But before I release my current theme, I want to know how many people are using my Basic 3 column K2 style and how many are interested on my current theme. So, please leave your comments and if I get a good response, I will release it immediately.

  2. George: You mean my current style or the basic 3 column k2 style. Both looks fine for me in IE. If you can be more specific, where you have problem, I may help you out.

  3. The current style is what I’m interested in…and for the record, my sidebar is still down near the footer in IE 6.x. I’ve tested it on 2 different machines.

  4. George: This version of K2 came with IE hacks disabled, so I didnt include any for my changes. May be for IE7, u dont need those hacks. So, it lookks fine in IE7 right?. Do let me know if u find anything else odd on my site. I will rectify it before I release it.

  7. I am using your 3-column theme with a few minor changes, I love it. You are doing a great job!

    I am considering using it for a more static website as well. I have not figured out yet if K2 is the best theme for that or not though.

    I also managed to change the header image, even though I am not the hacker I would like to be. Now I am thinking how to upgrade K2, I have downloaded the latest release, but I figure all of my work will be lost if I just replace the files, right? As soon as I have upgraded K2 I am getting the newest version of your 3-column solution as well.

  9. I’ve been keeping an eye on your 3 column layout cause I think it’s really sweeeet! Once I figure out how to get it to do what I want, I’ll use it. Would love to learn how to do your comments template on the sidebar. It’s exceptional! :)

  12. First and foremost I would like to say thank you very much. Your contribution to the k2 theme development and the WP theme development is just so generous of you.

    Bharath, there are many 3 column version of k2 out there, if I’m not mistaken about 3 excluding yours and honestly I have to say yours is the BEST out there.

    The main reason being that you are constantly updating and fixing the 3 column k2 theme you have created for the community. And your k2 theme is by far the most pimped out, it’s filled with loads of goodies for everyone’s pleasure.

    Bharath, I would like to represent all the people using your theme and say “Cheers!!” you’ve done a wonderful job. And please don’t stop!

    I just have a couple of questions:

    1. How do you customize the author remarking (special background and that border line) on comments?

    2. How do you standarize the horizontal line thing between posts and elements on the sidebars?

  30. Great theme, I picked it specifically from a bunch of others I looked at.

    Please, where can I find hz dimensions of both sidebars and post area so I can figure out how to shoe horn some ads into those spaces. I bet it’s in the code of one of th php files , can you give me some clue?
