Spectacular crash

I have been watching Formula one only from the end of the 1999 season when Micheal Schumacher came back from a leg injury of his high speed crash at Silverstone. After watching almost every race from then, I have started collecting videos of previous years races which I missed. Recently I found this video of spectacular crash at 1998 Belgian Grand Prix where 16 cars crashed. The Formula one archives says only 14 people retired though. But still its a must watch video. Njoy.

Inzi out obstructing the field

I was given out ‘obstructing the field’ in the first One-day International against India at Peshawar on Monday. If one surveyed the laws of cricket, the umpires’ decision was certainly according to the rules but, somehow, this law is something that I am not able to comprehend. I am also not in a position to say anything about it because the International Cricket Council (ICC) code of conduct doesn’t permit me.

However, such not very common laws need to be explained properly and in detail. The Peshawar dismissal was in fact in direct contrast to my run-out dismissal in the Faisalabad Test match against England. If I had not brought my bat in front of the ball, it could have hit my body instead.

How to: Download Google Video

  • Go to Google Video and find a video.
  • View the page source code and search for the keyword ?googleplayer?.
  • Copy and paste the videoUrl parameter (all of the characters after the keyword ?videoUrl=?).
  • Press Ctrl-L to go to URL location bar. Type Javascript:unescape(?videoUrl?) where videoUrl should be the last parameter you have copied into the clipboard.
  • It should output the actual URL on the broswer, copy and paste that URL onto your browser location bar again to download the FLV movie.
  • Play it with a FLV Player.
